Mission Statement

We are a multicultural institution composed of six non-credit continuing education campuses. We share a commitment to access and excellence. Our task is not to select students who will be successful, but to make successful those who come, through the provision of quality instruction and support services. The primary mission of Continuing Education is to provide:

  • Short-term vocational courses leading to employment or promotion
  • Basic skills, GED prep and High School Diploma classes
  • English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for limited English speakers
  • Classes for persons with disabilities
